Armaforce is a Slovenian maker —Armaforce d.o.o., based in Ljubljana— that does one thing: bullets for handguns. Its current catalogue covers six calibres —.380, 9 mm, .38/.357, .40 S&W, .44 Magnum and .45 ACP— and not one rifle bullet. Its list of distributors names A. Izquierdo, at its Socuéllamos address, as its representative in Spain.

The manufacturer describes its process in detail, and it is what separates this brand from a cheap lead bullet. The core is swaged, not cast —the alloy follows its own specification and European rules— and it receives the plating Armaforce calls LeadFree, which covers the entire bullet rather than only its shank: the lead remains inside. That complete enclosure is the case it makes for indoor-range shooting, where lead vapour builds up.

The step the company calls its own comes afterwards. Once plated, the bullet is swaged again to check its dimensions: “we do not skip this step, as many do”, it writes, “because we have found re-swaging to be critical”. From that it claims two advantages over a conventional jacketed bullet: the plating does not separate from the core on impact, and the bore stays cleaner while the barrel lasts longer.

Of the stock that reaches Spain, most is plated and the rest jacketed. All of it is for handguns.
