Dry-fire and know where the shot went
The LaserLyte system has two halves. The first is a laser cartridge that sits in the chamber like any other cartridge: every time the firing pin falls, it emits a red flash lasting one tenth of a second where the barrel was pointing. The second is the electronic target that records and registers that flash. Together they turn dry-fire —always the cheapest and dullest form of training— into practice with a measurable result, at home and without using ammunition.
The brand was born in 1996 in Cottonwood, Arizona, when Larry Moore combined his TacStar accessories company, founded in 1987, with Lyte Optronics. In January 2019, American Outdoor Brands bought its assets through Crimson Trace, its electro-optics division, and integrated it at its Wilsonville, Oregon plant: since then LaserLyte has been the training sister of the company’s aiming-laser brand.
The range covers the complete cycle: laser cartridges by calibre, inert training pistols with real triggers, reactive targets at several levels —from one that merely signals a hit to one that times a string— and bore-sighters for zeroing an optic without burning cartridges.

What we distribute
The entry point is the laser cartridge in the firearm’s calibre; from there, an inert pistol and targets according to how far practice is to be taken.
Laser cartridges
They sit in the chamber and turn the owner’s firearm into the training instrument. With no extractor rim, they are not ejected when the action is cycled.
LT-9 laser cartridge
The 9 mm Luger training cartridge. The firearm’s own firing pin triggers a red laser dot lasting one tenth of a second at every fall, and its hardened rubber cap acts as a snap cap: dry-fire no longer punishes the firearm. With no rim, the slide does not eject it and reload and malfunction drills are possible.

Trigger Tyme Compact with laser
An inert compact-sized pistol with its training laser already fitted. For first handling —grip, trigger and sight alignment— or practice where a real firearm cannot be present.
